West Virginia Public Service Training will be offering a WV Fire Fighter 1, Module 1 course at Valley Fire & Rescue beginning Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 6:00 pm. This class will be conducted with a mixed environment to include online homework and assignments as well as meeting face-to-face for practicals following COVID guidelines.

This 33-hour module course covers subjects such as:  History of the Fire Service, Fire Fighter Safety, PPE/SCBA, Fire Service Communications, ICS, First Aid/CPR & HazMat Awareness.

 Instructor:  Nate Arthur

 Tuition & Book:  $225

 Supply Fee (if applicable):  $50

 PREREQUISTITES: REGISTRANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OLD.

 PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the COVID 19 guidelines that must be followed,  class is limited to 20 people. If you plan to attend, please register at your earliest convenience. Further guidance will be provided before the class to those that are pre-registered.
