FIREFIGHTER 1

This 120-hour course will be conducted at Spelter VFD, Spelter, WV (Harrison County). Class will begin on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 6:00pm.  Class will meet on the following dates: January 18, 21, 22, 25, 29, 30; February 5, 8, 11, 12, 20; March 19, 20, and 26.  Class times will be 6-10pm on weekdays and 8am-6pm on weekends.  Jimmy Glasscock is the instructor.

TUITION/COSTS: Student cost $45 plus $50 supply fee. The “Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills” book will be available from the instructor at a cost of $75 each.

*Our COVID 19 guidelines continue to require face masks indoors when the WV DHHR map shows the county the class is in as orange or red.

*Students must come to class each session with structural firefighting PPE (helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves, nomex hood, and SCBA cylinder and face mask).
