Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Levels 1 and 2
Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Levels 1 and 2 classes will be hosted by South Berkeley VFD starting Thursday, October 25 at 6:00 pm. The Level 1 class will meet Thu 10/25 6 -10 pm, Sat & Sun 10/27 & 28 8 am – 5 pm. Dates for the Level 2 class will be determined by the instructor and class participants. Participants can complete either or both Level 1 and Level 2. Marshall Younker is the instructor. Prerequisite for Level 1: Rescue Core Prerequisites, NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 OR WVU-FSE Rescue Core Course, OR Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Operations. Prerequisite for Level 2: Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Level 1 NFPA 1006, OR Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Operations. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite training. Class Fee: $35 for Level 1 and $35 for Level 2. Books are provided for use in the class for a $10 rental fee, or can be purchased for $90.
