The 40-hour Fire Fighter 2 class meets NFPA 1001, 2013 edition. The text is Jones & Bartlett “Fundamentals of Fire Fighter Skills” 3rd Edition – WV custom cover W/Advantage Access. Successful completion of this class provides the minimum requirements by the WV State Fire Commission to respond to vehicle extrication calls. Prerequisite is Firefighter 1. Tuition is $45; Textbook is $75.
Class will be held at Clintonville VFD starting on Friday, January 5 at 6:00 pm. Instructor is Jim Phares.
