Rescue Core and Rope 1
Petersburg VFD will be hosting a Rescue Core and Rope Rescue Level 1 class starting Friday, October 20, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The class will meet 10/20, 22 & 22 and additional dates TBD. Class meets Fridays 6 to 10 pm and weekends 8 am to 5 pm. This 40-hour class includes Rescue Core Prerequisites and Rope Rescue Level 1. Rescue Core meets NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 and is a prerequisite for NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue Classes including Rope, Confined Space, Trench, Vehicle and Machinery, and Water Rescue. Rope Rescue Level 1 meets NFPA 1006 Chapter 6. Roger Brafford is the instructor. Course fee is $45. Books are available for a $10 rental charge, or can be purchased for $70.
