Basic Pumps
A Basic Pumps class will be held at Wiley Ford VFC on Sundays August 20 and September 17, 2017. The classes will be from 9 am to 5 pm. Tim Evans is the instructor. Class fee is $35. Pump operation is an important part of fireground operations. This 16-hour class will include a lot of hands on training with multiple scenarios and different types of pumps. Basic concepts and operating techniques for pumps will be covered. This class offers a good review and practice for veteran firefighters, and an excellent learning opportunity for firefighters who are not familiar with pump operations.
