FUNSAR/SARTECH II
Location: Southern Jackson County FD, 9015 Charleston Road, Ripley, WV 25271
Instructors: Spot On Training – Bob and Donna Ruzewski.
Course Dates: Jan. 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 – Feb. 2 – ZOOM on line portion – 6 pm to 10 pm each day
Jan. 23-24 – Saturday, Sunday – 8 am to 4 pm – w/night ops Sat. night
Feb. 6-7 – Saturday, Sunday – 8 am to 4 pm – w/night ops Sat. night
Course Description: This will be a FUNSAR/SARTECH II class with 24 hours of online classes and 40 hours (two weekends of day/ night time field work). The classes will cover everything needed to take the SARTECH II test on the last day. Students should come prepared to spend two weekends in the woods and learn how to do Map and Compass, Area and Line Search Skill, Night Navigation, Fire and Shelter Building, Knots and Stokes Basket Evacuation, Tracking, Communications, Mock Search.

There will be limit of 15 students for this class.
