EMT-B Initial

WV Public Service Training is excited to announce an Initial EMT-B Course.

Where: Wood County Training Center (2311 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26101)

When: October 5, 2026 – January 27, 2027

Dates: 2 days a week starting on October 5, 2026 on Mondays & Wednesdays

Time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Orientation is required in person starting on October 5, 2026.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMT’s exam. This test will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a state other than WV, you will not need to complete the WV certification process/fees, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification process in your desired state.

Absence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 16 hours (4 classes). Make up of missed classes will be at the discretion of the course instructor.

Fee: $800 to include tuition and book
