EMT-B Initial
WV Public Service Training is excited to announce an Initial EMT-B Course.
Where: Roane General Ambulance Service (200 Hospital Dr., Spencer, WV 25276)
When: September 28, 2026 – January 13, 2027
Planned Meeting Dates: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
2 days a week starting on September 28 & 29
Time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Orientation is required in person starting on September 28, 2026.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMT’s exam. This test will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a state other than WV, you will not need to complete the WV certification process/fees, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification process in your desired state.
Absence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 16 hours (4 classes). Make up of missed classes will be at the discretion of the course instructor.
Fee: $800 to include tuition and book
