Gilmer County Fire School is pleased to announce their Inaugural 2026 Fire School. Please click the link to view the brochure. Fire School will be April 24-26, 2026. We are pleased to have 13 classes! Please find the list of classes with registration QR Code in brochure or link below. Junior Firefighter forms MUST accompany class registration forms by emailing them to eva.godbey@k12.wv.us with the course name referenced in the email.

We are pleased to announce a Fireman’s Competition, Hose Bowling, and Cornhole Tournament! Fireman’s Competition will include donning and doffing your gear and others to be announced at the cookout.

Your team name will be displayed on the plaque displayed at the Gilmer County VFD.

Cornhole Tournament will have a $5 entry fee and teams will be determined by a blind draw. Winner takes all. Please join us at Gilmer County VFD (606 West Main St., Glenville, WV 26351) on Saturday at 7pm for the games!
