Emergency Care in Athletics: Caring for the Spine Injured Football Player

Location: Public Safety Complex Classroom, Buckhannon, WV
Course Description: Course will focus on the unique aspects of providing emergency care following suspected spinal injury in football athletes. Emphasis will be placed on emergent airway management, currently recommended techniques for removal of equipment, and collaboration between sports medicine professionals and emergency services providers.
