DESCRIPTION:Water Rescue Level 1\n\nA Water Rescue Level 1 class will be ho
 sted by the Petersburg VFC. The required swim test will be on Thursday\, J
 uly 19\, 2018 at 5:30 pm at the community pool in Petersburg.  The class 
 will meet Saturday and Sunday\, July 21 and 22\, 2018 at Petersburg VFC st
 arting at 8:00 am each day.  Ed Sankbeil is the instructor.  Prerequisit
 es: Rescue Core Prerequisites\, NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 OR WVU-FSE Rescue Core
  Course\, and Rope Rescue Level 1\, NFPA 1006 Chapter 6 OR Rope Rescue Low
  Angle Operations. Participants must also pass a swim test.  Participants
  must provide verification of prerequisite training.  Participants must p
 rovide a swift water helmet and PFD. Wetsuit is optional.  Course fee is 
 $45. Book is provided for use for $10 rental or can be purchased for$30.\n
