DESCRIPTION:Wood County Fire School is pleased to announce a Through the Lo
 ck course.\n\nDescription: Forcible entry is an essential skill in the fir
 e service. Firefighters should be able to size up and effective force the 
 door to gain access.\n\nThis class is designed to teach the basic principl
 es and steps of forcible entry conventionally and through the lock.\n\nCon
 ventional forcible entry.\n\nInward and outward swinging doors along with 
 secondary security measure will be the time to understand the variety of u
 ses for your irons and NY roof hook. Secondary locks will be a time to uti
 lize your k12 and hand tools to cut or force locks and chains.\n\nThrough 
 the lock.\n\nStudents will learn less destructive ways to safely enter sec
 ured structures that minimize cost for the resident for business by defeat
 ing different locking mechanisms commonly found on residential and commerc
 ial structures.\n\nPlease note: There have been questions about if the cl
 ass is only open to Wood County individuals. This class IS open to anyone
