SUMMARY:Stop the Bleed (Bleeding Control Basics)
DESCRIPTION:In recognition and support of Stop the Bleed day in the U.S.\, 
 a Stop the Bleed (Bleeding Control Basics) course that is open to the publ
 ic will be held on Thursday May 23\, 2019 starting at 3pm at the Buckhanno
 n Public Safety complex classroom in Buckhannon\, WV (Upshur).  Stop the 
 Bleed is designed to teach the lay public the critical steps in controllin
 g life threatening bleeding\, including direct pressure\, wound packing\, 
 and use of tourniquets.  This class is a joint endeavor between WV Public
  Service Training\, St. Joseph's Hospital Trauma Program\, and the Buckhan
 non Fire Department.  In order to prepare course materials\, we are encou
 raging pre-registration for the class by using the link below.  Walk in r
 egistrations the day of the class will be accepted as well though.  Pleas
