DESCRIPTION:This 20 hour rope rescue technician course (NFPA 1006\, 2021 Ed
 .) is being conducted at Masontown VFD\, Masontown\, West Virginia (Presto
 n County).  Class meets July 26 and August 2\,  2025 from 9am -- 7pm eac
 h day.  Chuck Curtis is the lead instructor.  In order to take this cour
 se\, students must provide proof of certification in Rope Rescue Operation
 s or Ropes Level 1 or Ropes Rescue Low/High Angle.  All students must com
 e to class both days with attire and PPE appropriate for rope rescue tasks
  (long pants\, boots\, helmet\, eye protection\, gloves).  Structural fir
 efighting PPE is not recommended for this course.  PPE\, and any gear (ie
 \, harness\, hardware\, etc.)\, is subject to inspection and approval by t
 he course instructor prior to being utilized in course activities.\n\nCLIC
 K HERE TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE\n\nTUITION is $60 per student.  The te
 xtbook\, “Rope Rescue Principles and Practice 5th Ed.” can be purchase
 d from the instructor at a cost of $80 each. Fees may be paid with cash\, 
 money order\, or company/department checks made payable to "Mountain State
  Educational Service Cooperative”  or “ MSESC".  Course fees\, or a 
 signed authorization to invoice a department/organization form (will be em
 ailed to all that register)\, are due at the first class session.
