SUMMARY:Rope Rescue Technician
DESCRIPTION:This 20 hour rope rescue technician course (NFPA 1006\, 2021 Ed
 .) is being conducted at Huttonsville-Mill Creek VFD\, Mill Creek\, West V
 irginia (Randolph County).  Class meets October 24 - 25\, 2026 from 8am -
  6pm each day.  Jimmy Glasscock is the lead instructor.  In order to tak
 e this course\, students must provide proof of certification in Rope Rescu
 e Operations or Ropes Level 1 or Rope Rescue Low/High Angle.  All student
 s must come to class both days with attire and PPE appropriate for rope re
 scue tasks (long pants\, boots\, helmet\, eye protection\, gloves).  Stru
 ctural firefighting PPE is not recommended for this course.  PPE\, and an
 y gear (ie\, harness\, hardware\, etc.)\, is subject to inspection and app
 roval by the course instructor prior to being utilized in course activitie

 e purchased from the instructor at a cost of $80 each. Fees may be paid wi
