SUMMARY:Rope Rescue Awareness and Operations
DESCRIPTION:A combined rope rescue awareness and operations class (24 hours
 ) will be held at Star City VFD (Monongalia County) on July 8\, 11\, and 1
 8\,  2026.  Class will meet 6-10pm on 7/8 and 9am - 7pm on July 11 &amp\
 ; 18.  Chuck Curtis is the lead instructor.  Participants should come to
  class each day with long pants\, boots\, gloves\, helmet\, and eye protec
 tion.  Students must attend all class sessions in order to successfully c
 omplete the class.\n\nCourse tuition is $120.  The course textbook\, Rope
  Rescue Techniques: Principles and Practice 5th Edition\, is not required 
 at the awareness/operations level\, however\, if participants wish to purc
 hase it\, they may do so at the first class session for a cost of $80.\n\n
