SUMMARY:Rope Rescue Awareness and Operations
DESCRIPTION:A combined rope rescue awareness and operations class (24 hours
 ) will be held at Parsons VFD (Tucker County) on April 16\, 22\, &amp\; 29
 \, 2023.  Class will meet 9am - 5pm each day.  Tom Klus is the lead inst
 ructor.  Participants should come to class each day with long pants\, boo
 ts\, gloves\, helmet\, and eye protection.  Students must attend all clas
 s sessions in order to successfully complete the class.\n\nCourse tuition 
 is $70.  The course textbook\, Rope Rescue Techniques: Principles and Pra
 ctice 5th Edition\, is not required at the awareness/operations level\, ho
 wever\, if participants wish to purchase it\, they may do so at the first 
 class session for a cost of $80.  Those wishing to purchase a book need t
 o notify the WVPST office at the time of registration so books can be avai
