DESCRIPTION:RESCUE CORE PREREQUISITES WITH ROPE RESCUE LEVEL 1\n\n This 40
  hour Rescue Core Prerequisites with Rope Level 1 course includes coverage
  of the awareness level requirements found in the 2013 Edition of NFPA 167
 0\, Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue In
 cidents\, as well as of the general job performance requirements found in 
 Chapter 5 of the 2013 Edition of NFPA 1006\, Standard for Technical Rescue
 r Professional Qualifications. This course presents in-depth coverage of s
 tructural collapse\, confined space and trench rescue\, vehicle rescue\, a
 nd water and wilderness rescue\, allowing rescue organizations to approach
  any rescue situation safely and confidently.  This course will prepare y
 ou for further training in the more specialized and advanced skills necess
 ary in various technical rescue disciplines\, and is required prior to tak
 ing another of the other technical rescue courses.  Students successfully
  completing this course will also obtain Rope Level 1 certification NFPA 1
 006\, 2013 edition.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis course is being conducted at Granvi
 lle Fire Department\, Granville\, West Virginia (Monongalia County). Class
  dates are September 8\, 12\, 17\, 22\, 24\, 26\, and 29\, 2019. Class tim
 es are 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm weekdays and 8:00 am – 6:00 pm weekends. John

 udent. The textbook\, “Rescue Core Prerequisites” will be loaned to th
 e student for a $10 fee\, but it may be purchased at a cost of $70 each.
