DESCRIPTION:RESCUE CORE PREREQUISITES WITH ROPE RESCUE LEVEL 1 - Blended Le
 arning\nThe Rescue Core Prerequisites with Rope Level 1 course includes co
 verage of the awareness level requirements found in the 2009 Edition of NF
 PA 1670\, Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Re
 scue Incidents\, as well as of the general job performance requirements fo
 und in Chapter 5 of the 2008 Edition of NFPA 1006\, Standard for Technica
 l Rescuer Professional Qualifications. This course presents in-depth cover
 age of structural collapse\, confined space and trench rescue\, vehicle re
 scue\, and water and wilderness rescue\, allowing rescue organizations to 
 approach any rescue situation safely and confidently.  This course will p
 repare you for further training in the more specialized and advanced skill
 s necessary in various technical rescue disciplines\, and is required prio
 r to taking another of the other technical rescue courses.  Students succ
 essfully completing this course will also obtain Rope Level 1 certificatio
 n NFPA 1006\, 2008 edition.\n\nThis course is being conducted at the Nutte
 r Fort Volunteer Fire Department\, Nutter Fort\, West Virginia (Harrison C
 ounty). Class dates are Saturdays and Sundays\, March 10 and 11\, 2018. Cl
 ass meets 9:00 am -5:00 pm. Rick and Darlene Scott are the instructors.

 018.\n\nTUITION is $100 per student. The textbook\, “Rescue Core Prerequ
 isites” will be loaned to the student for a $10 fee\, but it may be purc
