SUMMARY:Pipeline Emergencies
DESCRIPTION:WVPST is pleased to announce 6 offerings of a 4 hour course on 
 Pipeline Emergencies sponsored by WV Emergency Management Division. There 
 will be 3 opportunities in August at the Regulatory Training Center and 3 
 opportunities in September at Dunbar Fire Dept. Each offering is from 10am
 -2pm with lunch provided.\n\nCourse Description: This four-hour training i
 s designed to comply with NFPA 470: Standard for Competence of Responders 
 to Hazardous Materials Incidents\, specifically focusing on response consi
 derations during pipeline emergencies. The course includes several case st
 udies and a tabletop scenario. \n\nTopics include: \n• Understanding how
  to obtain information on the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS). \n
 • Understanding and Identifying what products move through your response
  jurisdiction \n• Discuss first responder priorities \n• Completing a 
 pipeline scene size-up \n• Working with pipeline operators\, staff and c
