DESCRIPTION:IFSAC FF II Testing - Cancelled\n\nThis IFSAC Testing has been 
 cancelled due to a lack of participants\n\nClick here for a flyer for IFSA
 C FF 2 Testing\n\nWVPST offers IFSAC (International Fire Service Accredita
 tion Council) Testing to provide West Virginia Firefighters with National 
 Certification.  IFSAC Testing provides a uniform means for judging and ra
 nking personnel which is fair and equitable\; to serve as a guideline for 
 acceptable levels of performance\; and to be equally applicable to both pa
 id and volunteer firefighters.\n\nThe written testing for Firefighter II i
 s on Saturday\, May 18\, 2019 at 6:00 pm and the practical skills evaluati
 ons are on Sunday\, May 19 beginning at 9:00 am at Martinsburg Fire Depart
 ment\, Martinsburg\, WV.\n\nTesting is based on NFPA 1001 2013 Standard fo
 r Level 2 Fire Fighter.\n\nPrerequisites include Firefighter 2\, Fire Figh
 ter I IFSAC Certification\, or participation in FF 1 IFSAC Testing on May 
 17 and 18\, 2019.  Copies of certificates validating prerequisite trainin
 g are required.\n\nSuccessful completion of the examination earns the cand
 idate IFSAC certification in Fire Fighter II.\n\nThe examination is compos
 ed of a Fire Fighter 2 written test (50 questions)\, and practical skills 
 demonstrations. Participants should bring full turnout gear and SCBA.\n\nT
 hose wishing to take the examination can request skills sheets to study.\n
 \nPre-registration is required.  Applications will be accepted on a ‘fi
 rst-come\, first-served’ basis and must be received by May 10\, 2019.
