DESCRIPTION:IFSAC FF I Testing - Cancelled\n\nThis IFSAC Testing has been c

   FF I Testing\n\nWVPST offers IFSAC (International Fire Service Accredit
 ation Congress) Testing to provide West Virginia Firefighters with Nationa
 l Certification.  IFSAC Testing provides a uniform means for judging and 
 ranking personnel which is fair and equitable\; to serve as a guideline fo
 r acceptable levels of performance\; and to be equally applicable to both 
 paid and volunteer firefighters.\n\nThe written testing for Firefighter I 
 is on Friday\, May 17\, 2019 at 6:00 pm and the practical skills evaluatio
 ns are on Saturday\, May 18 beginning at 9:00 am at Martinsburg Fire Depar
 tment\, Martinsburg\, WV.\n\nTesting is based on NFPA 1001 2013 Standard f
 or Level 1 Fire Fighter.\n\nPrerequisites include Firefighter I\, Hazardou
 s Materials Awareness\, and Hazardous Materials Operations.  Copies of ce
 rtificates validating prerequisite training are required.\n\nSuccessful co
 mpletion of the examination earns the candidate IFSAC certification in Fir
 e Fighter I\, Hazardous Materials Awareness\, and Hazardous Materials Oper
 ations\n\nThe examination is composed of written tests including Fire Figh
 ter 1\, (100 questions)\; Hazardous Materials Awareness (25 questions)\; H
 azardous Materials Operations (50 questions)\, and practical skills demons
 trations.  Participants should bring full turnout gear and SCBA.\n\nThose
  wishing to take the examination can request skills sheets to study.\n\nPr
 e-registration is required.  Applications will be accepted on a ‘first-
 come\, first-served’ basis and must be received by May 10\, 2019. Click

 tification (total for all 3 certifications is $75.00\, which is non-refund
