DESCRIPTION:IFSAC Testing for FF I Canceled\n\nThis IFSAC Testing has been 
 canceled due to concerns with the coronavirus pandemic.  When the morator
 ium on training and testing has been lifted we will try to reschedule.\n\n

 ernational Fire Service Accreditation Congress) Testing to provide West Vi
 rginia Firefighters with National Certification.  IFSAC Testing provides 
 a uniform means for judging and ranking personnel which is fair and equita
 ble\; to serve as a guideline for acceptable levels of performance\; and t
 o be equally applicable to both paid and volunteer firefighters.\n\nThe wr
 itten testing for Firefighter I is on Friday\, March 27\, 2020 at 6:00 pm 
 and the practical skills evaluations are on Saturday\, March 28 beginning 
 at 9:00 am at Martinsburg Fire Department\, Martinsburg\, WV.\n\nTesting i
 s based on NFPA 1001 2013 Standard for Level 1 Fire Fighter.\n\nPrerequisi
 tes include Firefighter I\, Hazardous Materials Awareness\, and Hazardous 
 Materials Operations.  Copies of certificates validating prerequisite tra
 ining are required.\n\nSuccessful completion of the examination earns the 
 candidate IFSAC certification in Fire Fighter I\, Hazardous Materials Awar
 eness\, and Hazardous Materials Operations\n\nThe examination is composed 
 of written tests including Fire Fighter I\, (100 questions)\; Hazardous Ma
 terials Awareness (25 questions)\; Hazardous Materials Operations (50 ques
 tions)\, and practical skills demonstrations.  Participants should bring 
 full turnout gear and SCBA.\n\nThose wishing to take the examination can r
 equest skills sheets to study.\n\nPre-registration is required.  Applicat
 ions will be accepted on a ‘first-come\, first-served’ basis and must 
 be received by March 20\, 2020.\n\nClick here for an Application for IFSAC

  is not met.\n\nThe fee is $25.00 per certification (total for all 3 certi
 fications is $75.00\, which is non-refundable)\n\nShould you have any ques
