 ighter I &amp\; II Testing\nIFSAC Notice 2019 Clarksburg\n\nWVPST offers I
 FSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress) Testing to provid
 e West Virginia Firefighters with National Certification.  IFSAC Testing 
 provides a uniform means for judging and ranking personnel which is fair a
 nd equitable\; to serve as a guideline for acceptable levels of performanc
 e\; and to be equally applicable to both paid and volunteer firefighters.\
 n\nThe written testing for Fire Fighter I is on Friday\, April 26\, 2019 a
 t 6:00 pm and the practical skills evaluations are on Saturday\, April 27 
 beginning at 8:00 am at United Technical Center\, Clarksburg\, WV.  The w
 ritten examination for Fire Fighter II is on Sunday April 28 at 8:00 am fo
 llowed by practicals.\n\nTesting is based on NFPA 1001 2013 Standard for L
 evel 1 Fire Fighter.\n\nPrerequisites include Firefighter I &amp\; II\, Ha
 zardous Materials Awareness\, and Hazardous Materials Operations.  Copies
  of certificates validating prerequisite training are required.\n\nSuccess
 ful completion of the examination earns the candidate IFSAC certification 
 in Fire Fighter I &amp\; II\, Hazardous Materials Awareness\, and Hazardou
 s Materials Operations\n\nThe examination is composed of written tests inc
 luding Fire Fighter I\, (100 questions)\; Hazardous Materials Awareness (2
 5 questions)\; Hazardous Materials Operations (50 questions)\, Fire Fighte
 r II (50 questions) and practical skills demonstrations.\n\nThose wishing 
 to take the examination can request skills sheets to study.\n\nPre-registr
 ation is required.  Applications will be accepted on a ‘first-come\, fi
 rst-served’ basis and must be received by April 15\, 2019.\n\nIFSAC FF I
  and FF II Certification Testing 2019 Application\n\nTesting will be cance
 lled if minimum number of applicants is not met.\n\nThe fee is $25.00 per 
 certification (total for all 4 certifications is $100.00\, which is non-re
