HazMat Awareness and Operations
A 34-hour Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations class meets NFPA 1072, 2017 edition including product control and PPE. Participants learn defensive operations and decontamination techniques. The class will be held at Coal City VFD starting Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 8:00 am. The class will meet April 23, 24, and 30 and May 7 . Instructor will be Josh Davis. Class Fee $45. If you have a copy of the Firefighter 1, 4th Edition you may use this book. If you do not have a book and wish to purchase one, the cost will be $75.
