DESCRIPTION:Fire Officer 1 and 2\n\nA Fire Officer 1 and 2 class will be he
 ld at Hedgesville VFD starting Friday\, February 22\, 2019 at 6:00 pm.  T
 he class will meet weekends - February 22\, 23\, &amp\; 24\, and March 1\,
  2\, 3\, 9\, &amp\; 10.  Participants are required to complete a signific
 ant amount of classwork outside of scheduled classes.  Mike Athey is the 
 instructor.  This class combines the requirements for Fire Officer 1 and 
 Fire Officer 2 and meets NFPA 1021\, 2014. Participants who successfully c
 omplete the course will receive certificates for Fire Officer 1 and Fire O
 fficer 2. Someone already having Fire Officer 1 must attend the entire cla
 ss to certify for Fire Officer 2. Fire Fighter 2 is a prerequisite for Fir
 e Officer 1. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite to rec
