SUMMARY:Firefighter I and II (Combination Format)
DESCRIPTION:A Firefighter I and II class will be hosted by South Morgan VFD
  Starting October  18\, 2022. The first night will be registration and di
 stribution of course materials. All participants are required to attend th
 e first class meeting at South Morgan VFD. Individuals will be required to
  bring a laptop or tablet device.\n\nThis class will be unique in that ind
 ividuals will have a preference of attending a traditional class or partic
 ipating in the online platform. Individuals who chose the online platform 
 will be required to attend practical sessions when they are scheduled to c
 oincide with the traditional class. At no point will individuals be allowe
 d to switch between traditional and online platforms once the class has st
 arted. I caution you that the online platform requires a tremendous amount
  of self awareness and time commitment to complete.  If individuals fall 
 behind more than 5 chapters\, they will be removed from the program.\n\nTh
 e class includes FF I\, FF II\, HazMat Awareness/Operations\, NFPA Live Bu
 rn Component\, and First Aid/CPR.  Practical Skills training sessions wil
 l be on evenings and weekends with exact dates to be determined by the ins
 tructor and class participants. Weekday sessions will be held from 6pm - 1
 0pm and weekend sessions will be held from 9am - 5pm.\n\nThis course will 
 be sponsored through Morgan County. Classes will be held free of charge fo
 r all members of Morgan County Departments. Tuition will also be waived fo
 r ALL participants outside of Morgan County meaning you would only have to
  pay the cost of the book for the traditional option. The online class cos
 t remains the same for those outside Morgan County. Please see the course
