 .  The class will meet on weekends with the exact schedule to be determin
 ed by the instructor and class participants.  Participants are required t
 o complete a significant amount of classwork outside of scheduled classes.
   Mike Athey is the instructor.  This class combines the requirements fo
 r Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Participants who successfully complet
 e the course will receive certificates for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer
  2. Someone already having Fire Officer 1 must attend the entire class to 
 certify for Fire Officer 2. Fire Fighter 2 is a prerequisite for Fire Offi
 cer 1. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite to receive c
