 en: September 25\, 28\, 30\, October 2\, 5\, 12\, 14\, 16\, 19\, and 23\, 
 2023\n\nTime: 1800-2200 on Monday and Thursday evenings (9/25\, 9/28\, 10/
 2\, 10/5\, 10/12\, 10/16\, 10/19\, and 10/23) and 0800-1600 on Saturdays (
 9/30\, 10/14)\n \nInstructor: David Hodges\n \nTuition & Textbook: $220/pe
 rson\n \nThe combined Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2 class meets NFPA 1
 021\, 2020 edition. The text is Jones and Bartlett “Fire Officer Princip
 les and Practice” Fourth Edition Premier Access. Participants are requir
 ed to complete a significant amount of classwork outside of scheduled clas
 ses. Participants must attend at least 90% of the classroom instruction\, 
 complete the workbook\, complete all homework assignments\, take chapter q
 uizzes\, take the final tests\, and score overall 70% or higher. Chapter q
 uizzes will be 10% of the grade. The Portfolios (homework assignments) wil
 l be 20% of the grade. The Workbook will be 20% of the grade. The Final Te
 st will be 50% of the grade.\n \nPrerequisites: Fire Fighter I & II (Must 
 send copies of certificates prior to the first day of class to Eva Godbey 
 at eva.godbey@k12.wv.us.)\n \nJunior fire fighters are not permitted to at
 tend this course.\n\n***You are encouraged to bring a laptop with you when
