 class. \n\nWhere: Racine VFD (400 Volunteer St.\, Racine\, WV 25165)\n\nWh
 en: Mondays\, Thursdays\, and Saturdays starting February 20\, 2023 throug
 h March 30\, 2023\n\nTime: 0900-1700 on Saturdays\; 1800-2200 on Mondays a
 nd Thursdays\n\nInstructor: David Hodges\n\nTuition &amp\; Textbook: $220/
 person\n\nThe combined Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2 class meets NFPA 
 1021\, 2020 edition. The text is Jones and Bartlett “Fire Officer Princ
 iples and Practice” Fourth Edition Premier Access. Participants are req
 uired to complete a significant amount of classwork outside of scheduled c
 lasses. Participants must attend at least 90% of the classroom instructio
 n\, complete the workbook\, complete all homework assignments\, take chapt
 er quizzes\, take the final tests\, and score overall 70% or higher. Chap
 ter quizzes will be 10% of the grade. The Portfolios (homework assignment
 s) will be 20% of the grade. The Workbook will be 20% of the grade. The 
 Final Test will be 50% of the grade.\n\nPrerequisites: Fire Fighter I &am
 p\; II (Must send copies of certificates prior to the first day of class
