DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning October 14\, 2025 at the Wiley Ford Volunt
 eer Fire Department. Classes will  meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-1
 0pm.\n\nPaula Detrick and William Lindsay will be the instructors.\n\nAll 
 Students are required to have a laptop computer for class!\n\nTime: 6:00pm
 -10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT care b
 y the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class meets
  the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully 
 complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, complete the prac
 tical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the computer-based 
 National Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Registry e
 very two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you will be 
 eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking certif
 ication in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV ce
 rtification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing 
 and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification process in 
 your desired state.\n\nIf minimum class participants are not registered cl
