SUMMARY:EMT ONLINE- Initial
DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an ONLINE - Emerg
 ency Medical Technician course beginning June 22\, 2022 from 6 pm - 10:00 
 pm at Moorefield VFD. In person classes will be on Mondays thereafter.\n\n
 This will be fast paced program requiring self discipline and dedication t
 hroughout.\n\nAll Students are required to have a laptop computer for clas
 s!\n\nTime: 6pm - 10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic le
 vel of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services.
  This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate m
 ust successfully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, 
 complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the
  computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by Na
 tional Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the cour
 se\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. 
 If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to c
 omplete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass p
 ractical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certific
 ation process in your desired state.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFee:  This course is b
