DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an ONLINE - Emerg
 ency Medical Technician course beginning August 20\, 2022 from 9 am - 5 pm
  at Romney Rescue Training Center. In person classes will be determined by
  the majority the first day of class..\n\nOnline programs will require sel
 f discipline and dedication throughout.\n\nAll Students are required to ha
 ve a laptop computer for class!\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the ba
 sic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Ser
 vices. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candi
 date must successfully complete the program\, complete required clinical t
 ime\, complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score 
 on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required
  by National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of th
 e course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs e
 xam. If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not nee
 d to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to 
 pass practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the ce
 rtification process in your desired state.\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!!\
