SUMMARY:EMT - Jefferson County Emergency Services Agency
DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning January 8th at the Jefferson County Emerge
 ncy Services Agency. Classes will  meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-
 10. Weekend requirements will be discussed during first class.\n\nRobert H
 orn will be the instructor.\n\nAll Students are required to have a laptop 
 computer for class!\n\nTime: 5:30pm-10pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program 
 is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Me
 dical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The 
 EMT candidate must successfully complete the program\, complete required c
 linical time\, complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passi
 ng score on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is
  required by National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful complet
 ion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry 
 of EMTs exam. If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you wil
 l not need to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply
  need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding wi
