DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning January 5\, 2026 at the Jefferson County E
 SA. Classes will  meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm-10pm and the last 
 Saturday of each month 10am-4pm\n\nInstructors: Craig Horn\n\nAll Students
  are required to have a laptop computer for class!\n\nTime: 5:30pm-10:00pm
 \n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT care by the We
 st Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class meets the Nat
 ional Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully complete
  the program\, complete required clinical time\, complete the practical sk
 ills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the computer-based National
  Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Registry every two
  years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you will be eligible
  to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking certification 
 in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certificat
 ion process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREM
 T examination before proceeding with the certification process in your des
