SUMMARY:EMT Initial Course
DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training Southwest Region will be offering an
  Emergency Medical Technician course beginning October 15\, 2020 at 5:00 p
 m at Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority.\n\nUpon successful compl
 etion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registr
 y of EMTs exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, bein
 g included within the course tuition.  This test will be scheduled at you
 r convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center.  If seeking certification 
 in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certificat
 ion process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREM
 T examination before proceeding with the certification process in your des
 ired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hour
 s. Make up of missed classes will be at the discretion of the course instr
 uctor.\n\nFee: FREE to WV residents from a grant through Jobs &amp\; Hope
  WV to include tuition\, textbook\, and the first attempt at the National 
 Registry exam.\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. CLASS IS LIMITED TO 25 STUDEN
