DESCRIPTION:Public Service Training – Clarksburg will be conducting a ble
 nded learning course for initial Emergency Medical Technician. This blende
 d – learning Emergency Medical Technician course will cover the content 
 necessary for students to sit for the practical skills and cognitive exami
 nations for EMT certification. If you are a self-motivated\, goal oriented
  student who enjoys being challenged\, then this is a great educational op
 portunity. If you are looking for an easy route to EMT Certification\, the
 n this course is NOT for you.  Students must have a personal e-mail accou
 nt\, computer\, and high speed internet access. \n\nCLASS MEETING DATES: T
 he class will begin on Sunday April 14\, 2019 from 9a-5p at Flemington EMS
 \, Flemington\, WV (Taylor County) to obtain course materials and begin co
 urse instruction. Other dates that the student will be required to be at F
 lemington EMS are April 20\, May 18\, June 1\, 15\, and July 13\, 27\, 28.
  Students who do not attend all of these dates will not be eligible to tes
 t.  Students must complete online course work prior to attending face-to-
 face session\, with the exception of the first class.  Failure to complet
 e assigned coursework will result in being dismissed from the course.\n\nA
 t the conclusion of the course\, students must successfully pass the pract
 ical skills evaluations and may schedule to take the NREMT (National Regis
 try of EMT’s) examination (computer based\, scheduled by student).\n\nTh
 is course includes a clinical rotation that will be scheduled by the stude
 nt outside of classroom hours and must be successfully completed before te
 sting can occur.\n\nPre- registration is required and course payment must 
 be received by the first class session on April 14\, 2019. Class is limite
