DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course at Maysville VFC.\n\nDates / Times: October 30\, 202
 3. Classes will  meet Mondays and Fridays from 6-10. Weekend requirements
  will be discussed during first class.\n\nInstructor: Craig Cox\n\nAll Stu
 dents are required to have a laptop computer for class!\n\nTime: 6pm-10pm\
 n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT care by the Wes
 t Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class meets the Nati
 onal Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully complete 
 the program\, complete required clinical time\, complete the practical ski
 lls testing\, and obtain a passing score on the computer-based National 
 Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Registry every two 
 years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you will be eligible 
 to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking certification i
 n a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certificati
 on process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT
  examination before proceeding with the certification process in your desi
