SUMMARY:EMT - Initial Morgan County Rescue Squad
DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning April 20th\, 2023 at the Morgan County Res
 cue Squad. Classes will  meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10. Weekend r
 equirements will be discussed during first class.\n\nJonathan Fink will be
  the lead instructor with Courtney Turner and Colin Graham assisting.\n\nA
 ll Students are required to have a laptop computer for class!\n\nTime: 6pm
 -10pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT care by t
 he West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class meets th
 e National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully com
 plete the program\, complete required clinical time\, complete the practic
 al skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the computer-based Nat
 ional Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Registry ever
 y two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you will be eli
 gible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking certifica
 tion in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certi
 fication process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and
  NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification process in you
