DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning March 21\, 2023 at the Augusta VFD. Classe
 s will  meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 - 5.\n\nCourtney Turner will b
 e the instructor.\n\nAll Students are required to have a laptop computer f
 or class!\n\nTime: 8am-5pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic l
 evel of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services
 . This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate 
 must successfully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\,
  complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on th
 e computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by N
 ational Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the cou
 rse\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam.
  If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to
  complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass
  practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certif
