DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning January 2 from 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm at Jeffe
 rson County Emergency Services Agency. In person classes will be on Monday
 s and Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 10pm.\n\nAll Students are required to have 
 a laptop computer for class!\n\nTime: 5:30pm - 10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour mi
 nimum program is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office o
 f Emergency Medical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curr
 iculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully complete the program\, compl
 ete required clinical time\, complete the practical skills testing\, and 
 obtain a passing score on the computer-based National Registry exam. Rece
 rtification is required by National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon succ
 essful completion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the Nati
 onal Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking certification in a state other tha
 n WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certification process/fees\, a
 nd will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before
  proceeding with the certification process in your desired state.\n\n&nbsp
