DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning April 7\, 2022 from 6 pm - 10:00 pm at War
 densville Rescue.\n\nPlanned Class Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays.\n\nTime:
  6pm - 10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT 
 care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class
  meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must success
 fully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, complete th
 e practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the computer-
 based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Regi
 stry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you wi
 ll be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking 
 certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the
  WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical te
 sting and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification proce
 ss in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total class h
 ours = 15 hours.\n\nFee:  $400 Tuition due first night of class\n\nBooks 
 will be covered through Jobs &amp\; Hope WV.\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
