DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning January 4\, 2022 from 6 pm - 10:00 pm at G
 rant County Ambulance.\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays.\n
 \nTime: 6pm - 10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level 
 of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. Thi
 s class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must 
 successfully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, comp
 lete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the co
 mputer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by Nation
 al Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\,
  you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If s
 eeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to compl
 ete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass pract
 ical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certificatio
 n process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total 
 class hours = 15 hours.\n\nFee:  $330 Tuition due first night of class\n\
 nBook and Platinum Education costs covered through Jobs &amp\; Hope WV. Gr
 ant Ambulance is also offsetting the cost to make this program more afford
 able.\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!! Students must have a laptop computer
