DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning January 3\, 2022 from 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm a
 t Jefferson County Emergency Services Agency.\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Mo
 ndays and Wednesdays.\n\nTime: 5:30pm - 10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum p
 rogram is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emerg
 ency Medical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.
   The EMT candidate must successfully complete the program\, complete req
 uired clinical time\, complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain 
 a passing score on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertifica
 tion is required by National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful 
 completion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Re
 gistry of EMTs exam. If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, 
 you will not need to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will
  simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before procee
 ding with the certification process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allo
 wance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours.\n\nFee:  $350 Tuition d
