DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician class starting  on January 4\, 2027 at the Jefferson Count
 y ESA.\n\nInstructors: Robert Horn\n\nAll Students are required to have a 
 laptop computer for class!\n\nTime: 5:30pm-10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimu
 m program is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Em
 ergency Medical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curricul
 um.  The EMT candidate must successfully complete the program to include 
 Platinum Education testing\, complete required clinical time\, complete th
 e practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the computer-ba
 sed National Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Regist
 ry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you will
  be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. If seeking ce
 rtification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the W
 V certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical test
 ing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification process
