DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning October 11\, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm 
 at Springfield Area Rescue Squad.\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Mondays and We
 dnesdays.\n\nTime: 6:00pm - 10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is th
 e basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical
  Services. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT c
 andidate must successfully complete the program\, complete required clinic
 al time\, complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing sc
 ore on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is requ
 ired by National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion o
 f the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EM
 Ts exam. If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not
  need to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need
  to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with th
 e certification process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10%
  of the total class hours = 15 hours.\n\nFee:  $400 Tuition due first nig
 ht of class\n\nBook and First Attempt at National Registry Exam MAY be cov
 ered through Jobs &amp\; Hope WV. We will revisit this closer to the class
