DESCRIPTION:Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)\n\nThis 155 hour minimum pro
 gram is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergen
 cy Medical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum. 
  The EMT candidate must successfully complete the program\, complete requi
 red clinical time\, complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a 
 passing score on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertificati
 on is required by National Registry every two years.\n\nWV Public Service 
 Training will be conducting an Emergency Medical Technician course beginni
 ng August 10\, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm at the Spencer-Roane VFD (400 
 E. Main St.\, Spencer\, WV 25276)\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Mixture of two
  evenings a week.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\,
  you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam\, with
  the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, being included within the
  course tuition. This test will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pea
 rson Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a state other than W
 V\, you will not need to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and 
 will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before pr
 oceeding with the certification process in your desired state.\n\n Absenc
 e allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours. Make up of missed 
 classes will be at the discretion of the course instructor.\n\nFee:  $300

 gistry Exam will be covered through Jobs &amp\; Hope WV for WV Residents\n
