DESCRIPTION:This 155-hour course is being conducted at the Parkersburg Fire
  Dept. Training Center\, located at 2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, WV 26
 101.  Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm-10pm each evening\, beg
 inning January 13\, 2020.  The course instructor is Mike Tanner.\n\nCost:
   FREE to you from the Jobs &amp\; Hope WV\n\nThe course also requires a 
 clinical component to be completed outside of class hours during which you
  will ride along with an EMS agency to complete 10 patient assessments. T
 hese assessments must be completed prior to being approved to take the NRE
 MT exam once the course is completed. You will receive more information o
 n the clinical component during the class.\n\nUpon successful completion o
 f the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EM
 Ts exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, being inclu
 ded within the course tuition.  This test will be scheduled at your conve
 nience at a Pearson Vue testing center.  If seeking certification in a st
 ate other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certification pro
 cess/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT exami
 nation before proceeding with the certification process in your desired st
 ate.\n\nPre- registration for this class is required. Class is limited to 
 30 students.  Absence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hour
 s. Make up of missed classes will be at the discretion of the course instr
