DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning September 10\, 2026  at Fort Ashby VFC. C
 lasses will  meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-10pm.\n\nInstructors: M
 ike Lott\n\nAll Students are required to have a laptop computer for class!
 \n\nTime: 6pm-10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level 
 of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. Thi
 s class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must 
 successfully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, comp
 lete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the comp
 rehensive exam through Platinum Education. Recertification is required by 
 National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the co
 urse\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam.
  If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to
  complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass
  practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certif
